UK department has called for academics to help it maximise value of R&D investment
The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has announced a formation of an advisory group to help it maximise value for money invested in R&D, which could include a launch of a new research fund.
On 13 May, Defra (headquarters pictured) urged academics, as well as business and finance experts, to apply to join the group, which will assess potential funding mechanisms, including the new fund that would support initiatives in the agri-tech and environmental sectors.
