Research papers supported by UKRI must be made openly available immediately from April next year
UK Research and Innovation has published its long-awaited open-access policy, determining which routes to publication the funder will support with its annual budget of almost £8 billion.
Under the new rules, any UKRI-funded articles submitted for publication after 1 April 2022 will need to be made openly available with immediate effect on publication.
