Jisc review to ‘kick-start’ UK open-access publishing

                                    

Review to focus on role of transitional agreements, with findings expected in early 2024

A review conducted by the higher education IT organisation Jisc aims to “kick-start” open-access publishing in the UK following two decades of “slow progress”.

Announced on 31 July, the review will gather evidence, generate discussion and make recommendations for action, with a focus on the role of transitional agreements.
