Dates set in June and July after union members vote overwhelmingly for industrial action
Staff at the Nature portfolio of academic journals in London have planned eight days of strike action in June and July, in a showdown over pay with the publishing company Springer Nature.
An email from Nature’s National Union of Journalists (NUJ) committee—seen by Research Professional News—details 24-hour strikes planned for 20 and 24 June, as well as 4, 9, 22 and 24 July. A further 48-hour strike is planned on 30-31 July.
