Science teachers free to choose, says government

It should be up to teachers—not the national curriculum—to decide which standard science experiments are used in the classroom, the government has said.

The government’s response to the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee’s September report on practical experiments in school science lessons and field trips was published on 29 November.
