BAE systems secures £40m research contract

Peter Luff, minister for defence equipment, support and technology, has placed a £40 million research contract with BAE Systems to investigate technologies for next-generation air systems.

Luff made the announcement when answering a question from Andrew Stephenson, conservative MP for Pendle, on what steps he is taking to “support research and development of military capability in the aerospace sector”.
