MPs to take evidence on forest research

The House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee will hold an oral evidence session as part of its inquiry into forest research on 13 July.

Witnesses to give evidence include Stuart Goodhall, chief executive of the Confederation of Forest Industries; Wilma Harper, head of corporate and forestry support at the Forestry Commission; Brian Harris, head of science strategy for agriculture, food and environment at the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council; James Pendlebury, chief executive of Forest Research; and Jim Paice, minister for agriculture and food at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
