Coalition tops Labour for party conference science rhetoric, says CaSE

The Campaign for Science and Engineering has worked out that ministers in the coalition government mentioned words such as “science” more than their Labour shadows during set-piece speeches at their party conferences.

CaSE analysed conference speeches by Prime Minister David Cameron, chancellor George Osborne, Lib Dem deputy prime minister Nick Clegg, Lib Dem business secretary Vince Cable, Labour leader Ed Miliband and Labour’s shadow chancellor Ed Balls.
