Scotland appoints medic as chief health scientist

University of Dundee professor Andrew Morris has been appointed Scotland’s chief scientist, a role covering health research.

The job is separate from that of overall chief scientific adviser, which has remained vacant since Anne Glover left to become EU chief scientific adviser in December.
