The House of Commons Energy and Climate Change Committee is to hold an inquiry into how potential independence for Scotland could affect climate change and energy.
The committee notes that climate change is a devolved issue but spans areas that are not: Scotland has important wind and wave resources and an electricity transmission system that is part of a UK-wide infrastructure.
