The House of Commons Science and Technology Committee is to hold an evidence session on 2 July for its inquiry into bridging the so-called valley of death between fundamental research and commercial development.
It has summoned witnesses including Rees Ward, chief executive of the aerospace trade organisation ADS; Keith Hayward, head of research at the Royal Aeronautical Society, Henner Wapenhans, head of technology strategy at Rolls-Royce, and Ruth Mallors, director of aerospace at the Aviation and Defence KTN.
