Cardiff university’s Nick Pidgeon to appear before Commons nuclear power inquiry

Cardiff university psychology professor Nick Pidgeon will be the star witness at next week’s Commons Energy and Climate Change Committee inquiry into the future of nuclear power.

Pidgeon, who is a science adviser to the Department for Energy and Climate Change, researches public responses to new energy technologies. His session will be on Tuesday 11 September. The inquiry is entitled: ‘Building New Nuclear – The Challenge Ahead’.
