David Tredinnick, Conservative MP for Bosworth of Leicestershire, will replace Caroline Dinenage, Tory MP for Gosport, on the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee.
The move may be seen as controversial by some, given that Tredinnick is a supporter of complementary medicine and homeopathy. He has also suggested that the moon can have an influence on blood clotting.
