UK-Korean collaboration hailed

The president of South Korea has outlined the importance of scientific partnerships with the UK during a visit to Imperial College London.

Park Geun-hye signed a deal with UK representatives to encourage more collaborative work on fuel cells between the two countries.

The delegation from South Korea, including the country’s science minister Choi Mun-kee, also visited the Royal Society this week. A policy intern there blogged: “We were also pleased to discover that minister Choi is a fan of our foreign secretary professor Martyn Poliakoff’s periodic table of videos!”
