Brexit deal for EU nationals ‘falls short’, say critics

Prime minister Theresa May’s offer to permit the three million European Union nationals to remain in the UK after Brexit has left EU officials and opposition parties less than impressed.

May revealed the proposal for a "settled status" for EU nationals living in the UK at a meeting in Brussels with EU leaders on 22 June.
