The ability of the UK to influence global discussions among the UNs’ 193 members may be significantly reduced after it leaves the European Union, according to political scientists.
Megan Dee, associate research fellow in the department of politics and international studies at the University of Warwick, and Karen Smith, professor of international relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science, make the warning in an LSE blog post published on 3 August.
The blog highlights the findings of a study published in The British Journal of Politics and International Relations.
