Priorities for social care research published

An alliance of clinicians, patients and carers has published a list of priorities for adult social work research as part of a wider awareness campaign.

The 10 priorities were published on 15 November by the James Lind Alliance Priority Setting Partnership, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR).

The alliance said that more research was needed on the impact of funding availability on adult social workers’ practice and decision-making, and on improving communication between adult social workers and service users.
