Pro-EU party says international collaboration is also crucial to protect the environment

The Independent Group for Change, also known as Change UK, quietly released its manifesto on 20 November. The party takes a strong pro-remain stance, pledging that “foreign students would be welcomed” but its manifesto does not include any specific policies on science or R&D.

Led by former Conservative MP Anna Soubry (pictured), Change UK was formed in 2019 by disaffected centrist MPs from both the Conservative and Labour parties, some of whom have since joined the Lib Dems.
