Northern Irish party promises to ‘develop a long-term plan’ to reach the target
The Democratic Unionist Party has promised to push to increase R&D spending to 3 per cent of GDP in its election manifesto.
The Northern Irish party, which won 10 seats in the 2017 general election and supported the minority Conservative Party government, said it would “develop a long-term plan between government, industry and universities” to reach the target.
