New edition of the Marmot review shows worsening health in England

There is growing evidence that health inequalities in England are widening and life expectancy is stalling, the author of a landmark study of the problem has warned.

Michael Marmot, professor of epidemiology at UCL, wrote The Marmot Review in 2010, a major work that set out inequalities in the health of people across the nation.
