The Queen said the investment will ‘unleash productivity and improve daily life for communities’
The government has promised more investment in science and research in a Queen’s Speech dominated by Brexit and the National Health Service.
Outlining the government’s forthcoming priorities in the House of Lords, the Queen said: “My government will prioritise investment in infrastructure and world-leading science, research and skills in order to unleash productivity and improve daily life for communities across the country.
