The IPCC’s reports—produced every five to seven years since 1990—have shaped the world’s response to climate change, driving politicians’ and researchers’ efforts to combat the dangers of a warming planet. Scores of researchers who will be shaping elements of the sixth report are now meeting in Scotland.
Research Fortnight asked Bob Ward, policy and communications director at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics and Political Science, to set out the main issues.
