UK academics slam the European Cooperation in Science and Technology’s ‘disruptive’ grants policy
A European Union funder of research networks has told its UK grant holders to transfer the administration of their grants to a partner outside the UK ahead of a possible no-deal Brexit.
The move by the European Cooperation in Science and Technology, announced after EU leaders postponed the Brexit deadline to 31 October, is a pre-emptive attempt to ensure that funding can continue to be distributed in the event of a no-deal Brexit, COST said.
