BioIndustry Association warns of a ‘chasm’ unless government rapidly increases funding
The government must rapidly increase bioscience funding or risk creating a “chasm” that could hamper ambitions to reach its R&D funding target, the BioIndustry Association has warned.
In a budget submission seen exclusively by Research Professional News, the trade body, which represents over 300 companies, urged the government to “rapidly re-fund and deploy the Biomedical Catalyst to maintain the pipeline of bioscience innovation”.
