Test and Trace boss outlines roles of obscure new health bodies
The head of the government’s Covid-19 test and trace programme Dido Harding has shed some light on the inner workings of the newly created National Institute for Health Protection, which she leads as acting chair.
Harding was responding to a letter from the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, Greg Clark, who wanted to know more about structure of scientific advice within the NIHP and the Joint Biosecurity Centre (JBC), which is a part of it.
