Without multi-year commitment for R&D, 2.4% target is at risk, warns former science minister
The government must front-load its promised investment in R&D to signal that the UK is open for business, former science minister Chris Skidmore has said.
Delivering the Blackett Memorial Lecture for the Operational Research Society the day before the government’s one-year spending review, Skidmore said it was “not the multi-annual spending review framework we had hoped it might be”.
