Every pound invested in space science missions generates up to £4 in returns, report finds
Every pound invested in the design and development of European space science missions generates between £2.50 and £4 in returns, a report commissioned by the UK Space Agency has revealed.
According to the report, written by research and evaluation consultant Liz Victor at the firm Winning Moves, £523 million invested by the agency in the European Space Agency’s Space Science Programme generated £1.4bn of income for UK industry.
