Graeme Reid, co-author of review into post-Brexit R&D collaboration, says visa scheme matches their recommendation
The government’s recently relaunched Global Talent Visa is a step in the right direction and reflects the recommendations made in a major review of the UK’s post-Brexit international collaboration on R&D, according to a co-author of the review.
Graeme Reid, chair of science and research policy at University College London, who co-authored the review published in November with Adrian Smith, director of the Alan Turing Institute, was explaining the review’s main findings when he made the comments.
