Prospect says government went from seeking ‘deep bespoke partnership’ to ‘at best off-the-shelf participation’
The UK government appears to have “unilaterally downgraded its ambitions for future science cooperation with the EU after Brexit”, a union representing scientists and engineers in the UK has said.
Prospect was reacting to a 30-page document that outlined the government’s priorities for trade talks with the European Union, published on 26 February ahead of the start of the talks this week.
