Sussex University vice-chancellor Adam Tickell to examine ‘why bureaucracy has increased across the research system’

Science minister Amanda Solloway has launched an independent review into research bureaucracy to remove “unnecessary red tape” in the sector.

Announced on 22 March, it will be led by the vice-chancellor of the University of Sussex, Adam Tickell, and will look “to identify why bureaucracy has increased across the UK’s research system”.
