Number 10 scheme aims to attract top tech talent to civil service

Ten fellows will work on digital innovation with five government departments

The government has launched a fellowship programme to attract top tech talent into the civil service as part of the national data strategy.

Run jointly by Number 10 and the Government Digital Service, and funded by the Cabinet Office, the Number 10 Innovation Fellowship Programme aims to attract “a diverse group of fellows who are passionate about using cutting-edge technologies and approaches to create positive change in society”, to help transform the delivery of public services.
