Horizon association tops science minister’s new year resolutions

George Freeman publishes 15 priorities for 2022, including Aria and pushing levelling up

The UK science minister has said the country’s membership of the European Union’s R&D programme Horizon Europe is his number one priority for 2022.

Writing on Twitter on 4 January, George Freeman (pictured) outlined 15 priorities for the coming year. Listed first was the push for final sign-off of the UK’s agreed membership of the EU’s €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) R&D programme.
