Former universities minister and peer Willetts praises new minister’s enthusiasm, as sector awaits official confirmation
Nusrat Ghani has been appointed the UK minister for science, research and innovation, according to Tory peer David Willetts, who held the role from 2010-14.
The UK has not had a dedicated science minister since July when George Freeman stepped down from the role.
