Sector keen to hear how International Science Partnerships Fund will support collaborations with developing countries

The research sector has welcomed the government’s new fund for international R&D partnerships, but asked for more information on how the fund will work with developing countries.

On Tuesday, science minister George Freeman announced the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) on a trip to Japan, with an initial £119 million in funding for what he called its “first part”.
