UK’s Horizon Europe money needs releasing so science community “isn’t left sitting on the bench”
UK researchers could start to see some of the £7 billion earmarked for Horizon Europe flowing into domestic programmes when the new financial year begins in April, the science minister has said.
George Freeman told members of a select committee on 2 February that he had been working on a “bold Plan B” to fall back on if the UK’s association to Horizon Europe is not signed off.
