Institute of Physics “concerned” minister still not appointed following George Freeman resignation

The chief executive of the Institute of Physics has urged the UK prime minister to waste no time in appointing a new science minister ahead of the outcome of the Tory leadership election.

In an open letter to Boris Johnson, Tom Grinyer said the learned society was “concerned” there was currently no science minister in place following the resignation of George Freeman.
