Former science minister says lengthy dispute process could further delay UK’s Horizon Europe participation
A formal dispute process launched by the UK government against the EU could further delay a decision on UK participation in EU R&D programmes, former science minister George Freeman has warned.
His comments come after the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office launched “formal consultations” with the EU over an 18-month delay to the UK’s access to EU R&D programmes.
