Ex-chancellor says science and innovation will “be at heart” of government if he becomes leader
Conservative leadership hopeful Rishi Sunak has promised a “better” alternative to Horizon Europe as part of his plans to make the UK a “science and technology superpower” if he becomes the next UK prime minister.
In a statement published ahead of a hustings event in Birmingham on 23 August, the former chancellor said science and innovation would “be at the heart” of his government.
