Shadow science minister says government’s plan B cannot deliver same benefits as Horizon Europe
A Labour government would do “everything we can to maintain or renew” UK association to Horizon Europe, shadow science minister Chi Onwurah has said.
UK participation in the €95.5 billion (£83bn) Horizon Europe programme has been beset by disputes over the Northern Ireland protocol, meaning UK-based researchers have been unable to draw on any funding they win.
