UK approach to clinical research is too slow and lacks patient involvement, think tank says
A right-wing think tank has called for legislation in the King’s Speech to speed up clinical trials and to encourage greater patient involvement in them.
Clinical trials are “an essential component in a broader approach to clinical research”, the Policy Exchange has pointed out in a paper on 14 bills it would like to see in the King’s Speech on 7 November.
