New Faraday Discovery Fellowships for “world-class, mid-career researchers” to be delivered by Royal Society

Long-term research fellowships announced in chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s autumn statement yesterday will be delivered by the Royal Society.

The fellowships, backed with £250 million of government money and due to launch in 2024, have been met with enthusiasm by the sector.
