Russell Group, European university groups and others sign joint statement urging quick association
Calls have been mounting for the UK to associate to EU R&D schemes, as UK and European organisations have signed a joint statement urging the process to be a swift one.
Prime minister Rishi Sunak and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen announced earlier in the week that they had come to an agreement over trade in Northern Ireland—an issue that has held up UK association to EU R&D programmes.
