Researchers urge politicians to quickly secure UK’s participation in EU R&D programmes after breakthrough
UK researchers’ access to EU funding programmes should be restored “as soon as possible” following agreement over trade in Northern Ireland, sector leaders have said.
The calls follow comments made on 27 February by the European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen, who said work could begin “immediately” on securing UK association to EU R&D programmes once the new Windsor Framework is implemented.
