Lords challenge “hokey cokey with Horizon” as negotiators wrangle over costs and UK participation rates

Peers have raised concerns about how long negotiations are taking over the UK rejoining the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

In February, the EU and UK reached a deal on trade in Northern Ireland that looked set to clear the way for the UK to finally become associated to EU R&D programmes after a delay of over two years.
