Vaccine Development and Evaluation Centre aims to build on Covid-19 successes to tackle new threats

The UK Health Security Agency has unveiled a new centre aimed at boosting the UK’s vaccine research and development capabilities.

Based at UKHSA’s site in Porton Down, Wiltshire, the Vaccine Development and Evaluation Centre will test and evaluate vaccines throughout the vaccination lifecycle—from product design to effectiveness as new variants arise.
