Innovation centre confirms increase in funding following UK government pledge in 2022 autumn statement

One of the UK’s Catapult innovation centres has announced it would receive £80 million in funding after the government promised them more money in the 2022 autumn statement.

In November 2022, chancellor Jeremy Hunt said he would increase government funding for the UK’s Catapult centres by more than a third in comparison with the previous five years. He announced a total of £1.6 billion over the next five-year funding cycle for all nine centres.
