Shadow science secretary Peter Kyle says science has untapped potential for economic growth

Labour’s policy to reform planning legislation will allow the building of new laboratories and 5G infrastructure if the party wins the election later this year, the shadow science secretary has said.

Appearing on BBC radio shows and podcasts on 4 January, Peter Kyle (pictured) said his party’s planning reform policy will have a “huge impact”, including on science, innovation and technology.
