Initiative to develop ideas from scientists into policy proposals receives mixed response from sector
An initiative has been launched in the UK to “democratise” R&D policymaking by turning ideas from scientists into “implementation-ready” policy proposals, receiving a mixed welcome from experts.
The initiative will crowdsource ideas from the science and technology community. Then, the best ideas will be selected to receive support from policy experts who will help make them ready for the next government to implement them as policies.
