Science secretary and EU research commissioner call for UK researchers to “seize opportunity” of Horizon

The EU and UK have made a joint commitment to “maximise” British participation in the bloc’s £82 billion research and innovation programme.

After the two sides struck a deal in September, the UK officially joined the EU’s Horizon Europe research funding scheme at the beginning of this year, ending three years of pain for researchers in the country who were frozen out by Brexit.
