UK and Philippines reaffirm research collaboration

Both countries commit to focusing on bringing research results to market

The UK and the Philippines have agreed to support collaborative research activities and work together to bring research results to market at the countries’ first joint meeting since they agreed a memorandum of understanding, which was ratified in July 2019.

The event took place last Thursday at The Peninsula Manila in Makati City, where the UK and the Philippines pledged to work together to advance innovation and science. They also agreed to meet every two years to “facilitate continuous and meaningful cooperation” in this area.
